INTERNAL FRAMED WALLS
70mm timber framing with stud spacing’s of 450mm. System consists of 10mm standard core plasterboard to both wall surfaces with 70mm Pink Batts® Silencer® fitted between the studs.
QuietWall 38 provides effective low level noise control between rooms such as bedrooms but is not recommended in situations where loud noise such as music could cause a problem to an adjoining quiet area. It provied a value of RW = 38 and RW + CTR = 31.
