plasterboard ceiling fixed to joists with furring channel and 90mm Pink Sonobatts fitted between the joists.
QuietFloor 53 provides effective higher level noise control from upstairs. The addition of carpet to the floor is beneficial in reducing impact noise, such as footsteps. This provides a value of RW = 53 and RW + CTR = 46
