Armafix pipe supports are recommended for hanging and clipping of all pipe work, particularly where thermal bridging may occur. This is important on refrigeration and chilled-water pipes where there is potential for condensation to occur between the pipe and its fixing. In heating installations the use of pipe supports will improve energy efficiency.

Armafix pipe supports are constructed from PUR/PIR load- bearing sections, imbedded in Armaflex® Insulation. The support is surround by two metal shells, preventing compression of the insulation and providing a vapour barrier to the PUR/PIR inserts. Excellent for use on chilled water and refrigerant vessels.

Vibration damping on air conditioning equipment.

Closed cell elastromeric thermal insulation does not required additional vapour barrier facing.

Can be coated to provide UV resistance in external applications.
